Pros:
1. It's in decent shape, and it's a nice machine. I ordered a "very good" refurb, and I think it pretty much meets that standard. It's white, so it clearly shows use, but everything's fine otherwise.
2. The keyboard is responsive and laid out well, which can be hard to find in smaller laptops and Chromebooks.
3. The screen is bright and easy to read.

Cons:
1. The version of Chrome OS I got is no longer supported, which apparently means that you can't download almost anything. On my newer Chromebook, I have Google Play, and I'm able to download most of the same apps I have on my Galaxy S9 phone. On this machine, though, basically everything I do has to be done through the Chrome browser, which - again - is fine for my current needs, but would pose an issue to anyone trying to do anything other than writing or maybe online shopping.
2. The trackpad is a tiny bit wonky. It works fine 90% of the time, but every now and then when I click on something it goes a little haywire. I think a wireless mouse should fix this.
3. It took a little finessing to get the charger in place. For a few minutes, even though it was plugged in, the machine was flipping between charging and not charging. In my case, I took out the charger and I just blew on the charging port, and that seemed to resolve the issue.

After very positive experience with Chromebook, I did not hesitate to purchase "HP 11-2010nr 11.6-Inch Chromebook (Snow White)" when it was on sale for $150. I am very disappointed. It terms of nearly everything, including material, keybaord and touch pad, it was a step down from Samsung Chromebook. Most Importantly, however, it is VERY SLOW. Some of the issues that I have with this Chromebook but not the previous Chromebook are as follow:

-Stutters a lot when I watch youtube videos. It nearly always stutters at 720p, and sometimes at 360p or lower.

-Lags whenever I have multiple tabs open. With my previous Chromebook I often had 20 or more tabs open, and I didn't even realize it because it worked so smoothly.

-Lags whenever I deal with pdf files.

-Slows down significantly unless I regularly restart the machine.

Although I'm disappointed, I'm giving it a three stars because it is cheap, and I think it is more useful than a tablet that can be purchased around the same price. However, I'd advise a potential buyer to try a Chromebook from a different manufacturer.

Pros:
-Battery life. While the product description lists 6.25 hours of battery life, I have found that my machine yields quite a bit more than that. When used for checking email and with the screen at low brightness, mine lasts for about 8 hours.
-Design. I think it feels pretty solid and refined considering its price point. The soft-touch paint helps it feel less plasticky and of higher quality than some other laptops at its price point. The large trackpad and chiclet style keys give it a premium look and feel compared to other budget laptops.
-Keyboard. The keys are well-spaced, the keyboard is full-size, and the keys have enough travel and don't feel loose or cheap when typing. It has the same feel while typing that some of the other HP laptops have, and it feels especially like the Stream laptops and identical to the Chromebook 14. However, I'm not a fan of the small size of the top row of keys.
-Price. I got it, unused from WarehouseDeals, for nınety, which I consider to be a pretty good value given that it is the previous generation.

Cons:
-Heat. When used on your lap, it starts to generate quite a bit of heat since it does not have a fan. While this allows it to operate quieter, it can feel hot to the touch after only half an hour or so of use in my experience.
-Charging system. When I received it, the OEM HP charger did not function at all. I guess this is a quality control issue. Also, while it is convenient that it uses the same charger as phones and tablets, HP's chargers seem to be unreliable and there was a recall issued for the charger. Also, when I use a phone charger, it takes up to ten hours to fully charge and will charge even slower while in use.
-Processing power. Other Chromebooks at the same price point deliver better performance. While simply navigating the web is not an issue, going on YouTube with a few other tabs open produces a slowdown and videos don't always play smoothly. However, it does start up quickly and scrolling is smooth.
-Gets dirty easily!

All in all, I think this would make a good replacement for a Windows computer that is mainly only used for surfing and word processing. It would also be good for kids to use for school, games, and homework. Since it is thin and light (comparable in size and weight to an 11-inch MacBook Air), it would make a good computer for someone who travels a lot and is on a budget.

The first issue that I faced with this chromebook is the microusb power adapter. At the beginning, it was charging Chromebook properly, although it was getting very hot. After a some usage, I noticed that now and then, it didn't charge notebook for a while, but unplugging and then plugging back helped. Around two weeks ago, it became useless cause wasn't charging chromebook at all.

Second issue is the support from HP. Opened cases in their support page 3 or 4 times but got no answer. Not even an automated response with the case number or something like this.

I use HP product for over 10 years. Sad to realize that HP product and support quality got very low.
